Kittery, Maine — HaleyArtGallery's 2010 season will open on Thursday, March 11, when the gallery will showcase new works by gallery's artists as well as works by new artists the gallery will be representing this season. View artists' works online http://www.haleygallery.com/topics/view/27002.
In memory of sculptor Robert Hollingworth, who passed away on Feb. 17 and whose works have been represented by HaleyArtGallery since 2008, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Hollingworth's Mambo Haiti will be donated to Red Cross Haiti relief fund.
The Gallery will also launch its Art & Dine series with the first one to be held on March 19 in celebration of Spring Equinox and Persian New Year (No Rouz). The event will include a viewing of Rick Steves' Iran– Yesterday and Today and sampling of Persian food. Travel through Iran's history and learn about its art, culture, politics and people seen through the eyes of a world traveler. Open discussions will follow the screening.
